Organisasi Pembicara?

Speaker Organization: Lies Sudianto (Founder of Profec), Wiryawan, and others

…on the edge of your seat? Billi Lim in Jakarta ‘Dare To Fail’

Action is what will make the difference between success and failure, especially in uncertain times like we are in now. This is what we were told; we the participants of the one day seminar: ‘Dare to Fail’ by Billi Lim a native from Malaysia.

The ‘Failure Guru’ took us through many myths and false believes. He proved his points with facts and stories and emphasized that we need to learn how to fall before we can succeed. Billi is a true professional speaker. The knowledge in his chosen niche, ‘Failure’, is vast and deep. He underlines his points with exciting movies like ‘Titanic’. The audience is frequently asked to stand up, dance and jump to reinforce the learning and at the same time keep interest and blood circulation at a peek. The packed ball room was often silent with only Billi’s Malaysian-Indonesian explanations ringing throughout. His unique hairstyle, typical ‘shrieks’, props and animated body language, make him stand out in the crowd. Action is what he taught and also expected from the audience, when, he introduced his ‘the first on the stage gets my book’ interludes, with more and more participants daring to attempt the almost impossible.

Thank you Prodigy Media and Bapak Rudy Lim for inviting Billi back to Indonesia for a unique and action filled seminar. The participants have dissipated by now, but they have learned that it takes action to be able to move toward success. We all have fallen many times it is time to get up and get moving NOW!

Qualifications for Speakers

American Speaker Association has since many years established a set of guidelines for speakers. It is imperative that speakers and trainers understand that the public wants to know how good they are before purchasing a seminar ticket. Even though a particular speaker has extensive knowledge and experience in his field, this does not guaranty him being an excellent speaker. On the other hand, a great ’speaker’ is no guaranty that the audience will recommend him, if he does not also deliver value. So what makes a successful speaker, trainer, coach? Since a few years, the ASA has simplified and streamlined the qualifications into 3 competencies: Expertise, Eloquence and Enterprise. Speaker Indonesia is using and applying these points, as to give the speakers and the public guidelines and indications about the competence of the speakers on our list. …on the edge of your seat?
